A: Yes, your baklava is always made fresh to order. We bake and package your baklava within 24 hours from the time we receive your order and generally ship within one business day so long as your order is placed by 10 A.M. Pacific Standard Time (PST), or you place your order by the specific cut-off time during peak holiday periods. To guarantee freshness, your baklava may not be shipped until the next business day.
A: Highly protected. We spent a lot of time researching the best possible way to ensure that your baklava arrives to your door as safely as possible. First, we place your baklava in 100% environmentally safe trays and wrap the baklava in the tray with a protective sheet for the best possible presentation. We then secure your baklava in a well-protected box, which is also wrapped and then placed into another properly labeled and well-protected fortified box for the safest possible shipping.
A: All our packages are shipped via standard UPS® ground, Monday through Friday, to the 48 continental US states. Premium shipping, such as 2-Day, Next-Day, and Saturday deliveries, are available and costs are based on the current shipping rates. For delivery on a specific date, we recommend Next-Day service. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or internationally is subject to an additional charge.Please note, deliveries to remote areas of Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico may take an additional day or more. A: Not long at all. Ground shipping from Newport Beach, CA generally takes approximately 5 – 7 business days from the time we receive payment of your order, so long as your order is placed by 10 A.M. Pacific Standard Time (PST). Please note, during peak holiday periods, cut-off times for placing orders may vary.
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to process orders for delivery to P.O. Boxes or APOs at this time.
A: Not at all. A signature is not required for deliveries; therefore, the carrier may leave the package if no one is available to accept a delivery. Due to the carrier’s delivery policies in certain areas, packages may not be left at your door. In this case, the carrier would leave a note (i) notifying you of the carrier’s next intended attempt to deliver the package or (ii) requesting that you contact them directly in order to arrange a pick up from one of the carrier’s nearby location(s). After a set number of attempts to deliver your baklava without success, the carrier will return your baklava to us.
Please note: Changes to delivery address information after the order has been shipped will result in a $15.00 charge.
A: Absolutely. Please provide the name of the hotel or hospital, full name of the recipient, and the room number of the recipient. Please also ensure that the recipient will still be in hotel or hospital to receive the delivery on the scheduled date.
